Hey my loves!! So my list has climbed to eleven again, but I remembered a few that needed to be on it! And I combined some series that are set in the same world into one category! This week I am doing Top Ten Fantasy Book and Series! I love the magic of fantasy, and these books capture a broad spectrum of themes and stories, which all come together under the umbrella of Fantasy! I only did series that I had finished all of the books to, but I should mention the Daughter of Smoke and Bone Series and the Inheritance Cycle books, which are both really good so far! As always I highly recommend any of these books! So here ya go!
The Scorpio Races by Maggie Steifvater:
This is one of my top ten books! Period! I LOVE IT!! I have read it like 5 times now, and every single time I am in awe of the epicness!
The Percy Jackson Series and The Heroes of Olympus Series by Rick Riordan
PERCABETH! LEO!! Does it get any better? I think not!! I love this series, I love the voice of the story and everything about it and it is simply perfect! PERFECT! I kind of wanted to find Rick Riordan and kill him at the end of the House of Hades, but he fixed everything and managed to make it work, and it made me happy!
The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan:
I love this series! I love Walt and Sadie and Anubis and I love them all! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I love the way Rick Riordan told the story to! Its perfect. I love it. End of story.
The Infernal Devices Series and The Mortal Instrument Series by Cassandra Clare:
Magnus Bane. He is quite possibly the most epic character to ever be written! I love Tessa and Will and Jem! They are so great and I love the way that they talk about books and there love story! I also love the way that they (I will not spoiler you by telling who) show up in the Mortal Instruments books! I also love Gideon and Gabriel and their love interests! The Mortal Instruments books are fantastic as well! I love Simon and Isabel and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jace and Clary! I just love that Cassandra Clare gives you so many couples to ship, and manages to make them all likable in different ways!
The Princess Series by Jessica Day George:
This series is so interesting because Jessica Day George takes well known fairy tales and turns them into action packed, romancy, perfect novels!!
Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow by Jessica Day George:
This is a FABULOUS stand alone book! It is just as magical as The Princess series and it has a cool, mysterious story that is just so classic and yet totally new and perfect and I just LOVE IT!
Graceling, Bitterblue and Fire by Kristen Cashore:
These books are amazing!! They are set in the same world and all of them incorporate some of the same characters, but its great because you get to follow 3 separate stories of 3 amazing leading ladies!
Savvy and Scumble by Ingrid Law:
I read the first book in like 5th grade and I was absolutely bewitched! It is really, really good! I just have always thought that the idea of kids setting out on adventures is amazing and the writing style is just so magical and bubbly!
The Ruby Red Series by Kirsten Gier:
I read the first book in less than 24 hours and waited in AGONY for the next books to come out! AGONY! They are all super super good! There is magic and love and perfection! They are just fabulous!
The Tortall Books by Tamora Pierce:
Tamora Pierce is a genius! She writes strong women who fall in love, which I love in a book, but never lose there freedom or epicness! Her worlds are truly breathtaking and dramatic and just all in all, everything she writes is gold! The Tortall Books include the Lioness Quartet the Wild Magic Quartet and the Protector of the Small Series, along with the two Tricksters Choice books!
The Books of Bayern by Shannon Hale:
This is a great series! I always love books that are set in the medivalish period with knights and castles and epic battles between good and evil, and it can only get better when you add in some magic!
